Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
ByteTuned Technologies LLC (“ByteTuned,” “we,” “us”) builds and runs AI systems for our clients. This website is our marketing and portfolio site, and we keep data collection to a minimum: the only personal information we ask for is what you choose to send us through our contact form. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics, we set no advertising cookies, and we never sell or share your personal information. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices and rights you have.
Who we are
ByteTuned Technologies LLC is the data controller for personal information collected through this website (bytetuned.com). For any questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at hello@bytetuned.com.
Information we collect
We collect only the personal information you give us, plus a small amount of technical data needed to run the site securely.
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name and email address, and optionally your company name, a description of what you’re looking for, and your indicated project type, timeline, and budget. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.
Analytics data. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and how it performs. These are privacy-friendly tools that do not use cookies and do not build a profile of you or track you across other websites. The data is aggregated and does not identify you.
Technical and log data. As with most websites, our hosting and content-delivery provider automatically records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
We do not collect sensitive (special-category) data, we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking, and this site has no user accounts or payments.
How and why we use your information
We use the information above to:
- respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about your request;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website;
- understand aggregate usage and performance; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell it.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under these legal bases of the GDPR / UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries you send us and to operate, secure, and improve our website, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — where you have given it, such as by choosing to send us your details through the contact form. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers (“sub-processors”) who help us run the website and respond to you, and only as needed to provide their service to us:
- Vercel — website hosting, content delivery, and cookieless analytics.
- Supabase — database hosting for our content management system, where contact-form submissions are stored.
- Resend — sends the notification email to our team when you submit the contact form.
- Vercel Blob — storage for site media such as images.
These providers process data on our behalf under agreements requiring appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) are cookieless and collect only aggregate, non-identifying information. We may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies that are essential for the site to function and stay secure. Because we set no non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
International data transfers
We are based in the United States and use service providers that may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) to protect it.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our legitimate business records, after which we delete or anonymize them. Aggregate analytics data is retained by our analytics provider on a rolling basis and does not identify you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your rights”).
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls that limit who on our team can view enquiries, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information, and we honor these requests wherever you are.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access and delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so no opt-out is necessary.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@bytetuned.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date shown on this page, and material changes will be reflected here.
